Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in multiple school locations within the Cape Coral area. The position is ideal for professionals holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or those in their Clinical Fellowship (CF) year, offering both full-time and potential part-time schedules during the school calendar year.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Florida teacher certification and/or state license in speech-language pathology
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CF credentials preferred; Speech-Language Pathology Assistants may be considered with appropriate supervision
- Experience working with K-12 students in educational settings
- Ability to manage varied caseloads across multiple school sites
Location:
- On-site in Cape Coral, Florida, with assignments primarily in nearby school zones including Lehigh Acres and the southern area close to Naples.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language assessment and intervention services to students across multiple schools
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with school staff and families
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and compliance with school district guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
